Celebrating the Grand Opening of Hint Bulgaria – A New Chapter in Our Global Journey

We are excited to share a major milestone in Hint’s journey together with Stefan Pronchev and the team: the official grand opening of our new office in Plovdiv, Bulgaria!

This expansion marks an important step in our continued growth and innovation, strengthening our global presence and creating new opportunities for research and development.

Plovdiv, Bulgaria’s second-largest city, is one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in Europe, with a history spanning over eight millennia. Renowned for its Roman-era theatre and stadium, both still in use today, the city is also a vibrant cultural hub, named European Capital of Culture in 2019. It is here that our next chapter begins.

Stefan’s Journey Comes Full Circle

At the heart of this milestone is Stefan Pronchev, Software Engineer acting as Managing Director at Hint Bulgaria. Stefan’s story embodies the values of ambition, innovation, and global connection that define our company.

Born and raised in Plovdiv, Stefan moved to the Netherlands to pursue a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology. There, he developed strong expertise in full-stack web and mobile development, as well as blockchain technology. He applied these skills through internships and projects that included creating a blockchain based energy saving app for Dutch residents and developing offline/online data synchronization tools for rural Africa. As a student assistant at NHL Stenden, he also coordinated digitalization projects and built a website with a custom CMS system.

After graduating, Stefan joined Hint Europe in the Netherlands. He has been crucial in advancing our software development while also supporting clients both remotely and on-site. His ability to translate customer needs into innovative solutions and build strong client relationships has made him an invaluable member of our team.

Now, Stefan’s journey comes full circle. Returning to his hometown, he leads the launch of Hint Bulgaria, our new hub for R&D and software development.

A Global Company with a Local Heart

The new Plovdiv office will serve as a center for innovation, where talented professionals from Bulgaria and beyond can collaborate on cutting-edge software development and research. This move reflects our belief that diversity fuels creativity, and by bringing together talent from different cultures and backgrounds, we are building stronger, smarter solutions for the future.

By strengthening our European presence, we will serve our clients even better, accelerate innovation, and stay ahead in an ever-changing industry.

Looking Ahead

We extend our heartfelt thanks to Stefan for his leadership and dedication, and to all our colleagues and partners who made this milestone possible.

The future of Hint is brighter than ever. Here’s to new beginnings, global connections, and endless possibilities. Welcome to Hint Bulgaria!
